Standard Rehearsal Rooms
The Black Bird offers five similar rooms, roughly 14' by 20' with 11' ceilings. Each air-conditioned room is stocked with the best equipment available. Most rooms have picture windows spanning an entire wall. Auralex Sound Barrier Technology is built into the walls and floor and Auralex sound absorber panels on the walls.

Our Standard Rehearsal Rooms are equipped with:Marshall JCM 2000 DSL50 and Fender Hot Rod Deville guitar amplifiers and Ampeg SVT-3 Pro Bass amplifiers with four ten and one fifteen speaker cabinets. The drums are Pearl Export series kits with two rack toms, a floor tom, a 22 inch bass drum and a 14 inch snare drum. Cymbals are available for an additional fee. The PA system is Soundcraft FX16 mixer with onboard Lexicon effects. An Ashley MQX 2150 dual fifteen band Stereo EQ and monitors by JBL or Yamaha. Mics by Shure. The Showcase Room
The Black Bird offers one large, 25' by 40' air-conditioned room with a stage, theatrical lighting hung on trusses, a much more powerful sound reinforcement system and a top quality backline of stage equipment. Vintage and specialty guitar amps are available. We are pleased to offer video recording services. Leather seating is provided for guests and audience members. Equipment in this room is second to none.

The Showcase Room is outfitted with: Truss hung theatrical lighting, a more powerful sound reinforcement system, top quality backline of stage equipment and luxurious leather guest seating. Vintage and specialty guitar amps are available in addition to Marshall, Fender and Ampeg amplification. The percussion provided by Pearl is a top of the line StudioMaster BMX Birch drum kit in a Gibraltar rack with custom DW copper snare, DW pedals, Pearl stands and Sabian cymbals. The PA is by KV2 and the house console is an Allen and Heath twenty-four channel mixer with TC Electronics and Ashley. The monitor system, run from the BOH console, KV2 audio and JBL monitor speakers. Wireless microphones by Shure and Sennheiser. Active direct boxes by BSS. Upon special arrangement, a Yamaha P90 digital piano and Korg Triton Le 61 synth can be provided at an additional cost. Click on the picture for more information.
